ENERGY CORE INVENTORY

Baneblade is for players looking for that extra 1% to get an edge over other players, and over the seasons is what really separates the competitiveness of your APC, heroes and statistics. Since everyone plays the game in different ways financially, here’s a breakdown of just how long it will take to make a complete gold baneblade set, gold baneblade part and how much shorter the purchase packages will allow you to craft vs organic helipad daily drops.

METHODSTOTAL SUPER CORESPER GOLD PARTGOLD BANEBLADE SET
HELIPAD350 PER DAY275 DAYS1650 DAYS
DOOMSDAY COINS45,000 PER SEASON100 DAYS + BREAKEST. 768 DAYS (-53%)
TRADE SUPPLY52,500 (35 DAYS)64 DAYS384 DAYS (-77%)
ARMS SUPPLY45,000 (30 DAYS)64 DAYS384 DAYS(-77%)
TRADE & ARMS97,50034 DAYS204 DAYS (-88%)
45,000 WEEKLY PACKAGE45,00021 DAYS85 DAYS (-95%)
APC PARTS WEEKLY PACKAGE4,000168 DAYS1008 DAYS (-39%)
10,000 WEEKLY PACKAGE10,000100 DAYS600 DAYS (-64%)

Give or take, free-to-play players will be waiting 1650 days or less (from time-limited events) to have a complete gold set of baneblade. Just one. That’s over 4 years! But F2P can cut that my over 50% if you dedicate some doomsday coins to buying super energy cores each season. In that case, it’s just 2 years.

The quickest way is the 45K weekly package if you buy that exclusively, taking just over 2 months. But it will take only a few weeks if you go all in with trade and arms supply, the 10K package and 45K package. Will cost you a lot however. Still, you can see how each package can affect production time, with the APC parts package the utter worst of the bunch that should not be touched with a barge pole.

PACKAGE COST

This table is from a cost point of view, summarising how much it costs to create a single gold baneblade part solely buying the package (covering the exact or more cores to produce). In reality, it’ll be a little cheaper when you factor the organic free ways you get super energy cores but this is purely for reference.

SERVICE /PACKAGEPACKAGE COSTPER GOLD PARTGOLD BANEBLADE SET
HELIPADFREEN/AN/A
DOOMSDAY COINSFREEN/AN/A
TRADE SUPPLY$4.99$45$273.73
ARMS SUPPLY$24.99 / $22.49 (SUB)>$49.98 / $44.98$324.37 / $294.37
TRADE & ARMS SUPPLY (SUB)$47.44$47.44$284.64
45,000 WEEKLY PACKAGE$99.99>$199.98$1299.87
APC PARTS WEEKLY PACKAGE$49.99$1175.76$7054.56
10,000 WEEKLY PACKAGE$9.99$99.90$599.40
15,000 PACKAGE (X3)$19.99$119.94$719.64

Trade supply is the cheapest way to complete a gold Baneblade set while the APC parts package is ludicrously the worst and in no way you should buy it, unless you do it for the parts but even then, crazy expensive. The most optimum in costing is trade and arms supply subscription combined which costs only a little more than trade supply on it’s own, but cuts the time by 50% compared to either trade or arms supply separately.

The 10,000 is better value than the 15,000 one, although the latter you pay the premium to have up to 3 of these packages in one go, rather than over 3 weeks. As a result, you pay $120 more in total. This package comes around monthly so it averages out but together with the weekly can make an in between in cost and time. Still though, a lot of mullah.

FREE WAYS TO EARN

As we go further down, depending on the type of Last Shelter player you are, you’ll want to apply each option from top to below. I’ve covered the best ways you can build Baneblade Super Energy Cores for free to play, minimal spenders, medium spenders and all-in spenders to help the full stack of players gain access to Baneblade as efficient in value, time and money (where applicable). You can refer to my detailed tabled of how long it takes of each type of player to access enough cores and complete a gold Baneblade set.

DAILY HELICOPTER EXCHANGE (350 PER DAY)

BANEBLADE SUPER ENERGY CORE GUIDE ONE TECH TRAVELLER HELIPAD

An easy no-brainer to do but just for completion of all the ways you can earn super energy core, you’ll want to pick up 350 energy cores per day in exchange for 700 normal blue cores. You can only do this once per day, in any of the helicopter drops (if you miss it in the reset cycle it will appear the next time the helicopter arrives). It’s not necessary to level up your helipad higher as it doesn’t increase the times you can exchange, although you’ll need the helipad to be at least level 10 or 13 for the ‘other’ items. Note super energy cores will start appearing from Doomsday Season 4 and no earlier.

DOOMSDAY COINS (45,000 PER SEASON)

BANEBLADE SUPER ENERGY CORE GUIDE ONE TECH TRAVELLER DD SHOP

This is essentially the quickest way for free to play players to build gold baneblade parts, and that is exchanging doomsday coins in the shop during Doomsday S4 and into SX Eden. It will hugely increase the cores required to make a single part, as you can exchange a total of 45,000 cores for 90,000 coins (500 cores per 1K DD coins).

You can only do this once per season, with the Doomsday shop resetting every season after. So essentially, you’ll need 180,000 doomsday coins for 90,000 super energy cores, with the daily helipad filling in the remainder to produce 1 gold Baneblade part.

The trade-off is the ability to choose hero tickets from S1-S4 all the way to SX, which also for F2P players is a big way to either complete pre SX heroes or build up your SX hero roster.

And that is it. Those are literally the only two ways F2P players can gain super energy cores without any real-money spending on a continuous basis. That, and the continued patience across many seasons.

BEST VALUE PAID PACKAGES

If you’re serious about wanting to compete with the upper echelons, and committed to accelerating Baneblade crafting, then you 100% will have to spend real-life money to do so. Below I’ve listed the best packages that offer great value for money and a balance of core value and time taken. Further below I’ll list the best big packages to go for if money is no object so you get the best energy core returns and avoid the worst value packages.

TRADE SUPPLIES
PRICE: $4.99
DURATION: 7 DAYS
DAILY CORE DROP: 1,500
TOTAL SUPER ENERGY CORES: 10,500
PER GOLD BANEBLADE PART 64 DAYS (>2 MONTHS)

One of the better value buys to increase energy cores directly. It’s more manageable cost wise, flexible whenever you want to restart the 7 days and gives you a healthy 10,500 cores at the end of trade supply. If you’re comparing the price to core with Arms Supply, you’ll get an extra 7,500 super energy cores (5 times trade supply is $24.99, the same cost as arms supply that runs 5 days longer).

In short, trade supply works out a little cheaper or offers more cores than Arms supply, although you get extra goodies included in Arms Supply.

ARMS SUPPLY

PRICE $24.99 / $22.99 SUBSCRIPTION
DURATION 30 DAYS
DAILY CORE DROP 1,500
TOTAL SUPER ENERGY CORES 45,000
PER GOLD BANEBLADE PART 6K LEFT AFTER 60 DAYS

As close to best value as you can get for core packagesbetter value if you do it on a subscription. A total of 45,000 cores after 30 days with a bunch of APC parts to incrementally help with parts production required for Baneblade. Arms supply is more relevant as a result of the energy cores, coupled with daily diamond drops so overall value is great if you want the extra bells and whistles over trade supply.

ELITE PRIVILEGE PASS

LAST SHELTER EDEN DISSIDIA BEGINNERS GUIDE ONE TECH TRAVELLER ELITE PRIVILEGE

PRICE $19.99
DURATION: PER EDEN SEASON
DAILY CORE DROP: N/A
TOTAL SUPER ENERGY CORES: 45,000 PER 90,000 DOOMSDAY COINS

In my opinion, the very best all-round package you can buy that is reasonably priced and stacked full of value. It’ll help you meaningfully in all areas of Last Shelter: Eden buffs, hero EXP, honor points growth, super tickets, doomsday coins, super tickets, and even APC skin if you’re dedicated.

Granted, the rewards are far better than normal challenge rewards every 2 levels, but it’s based on your efforts to complete the challenges (which you’ll normally do throughout Eden). As long as you do that, it’s the ONLY way you can essentially access to grow your doomsday coins quickly, gaining a total of 180,000 coins vs 50,000 otherwise. This can cover super energy cores for 1 gold baneblade part over 2 Eden seasons.

10,000 WEEKLY PACKAGE

PRICE $9.99
DURATION: WEEKLY
DAILY CORE DROP: N/A
TOTAL SUPER ENERGY CORES: 10,000 PER WEEK

If you prefer shorter time than the cost, the 10,000 core weekly package is good at that. It’ll cost you double the price for near enough the same amount of cores ($10 vs $5) as trade supply, but if you want it quickly, you could do worse than that. I would still recommend trade supply over this, but if you want to double up, than trade and this package are a good combo.

LIMITED-TIME EVENTS

RUINS ADVENTURE (CHINESE / LUNAR NEW YEAR)

A new event in my first SX season, ruins adventure is a crazy dope way to gain a lot of super energy cores. There’s a total of 40 monster stages you need to complete, requiring APC formations they are vulnerable to hit with, such as fighters, shooters, vehicles or an APC with a male and female hero. For every 5 levels you get better rewards, with the final stage awarding 5,000 super energy cores at the end of the event! That’s equivalent to 15 days of helicopter drops. In addition, T10 has also arrived, with 2,500 war badges included in the rewards to research the tech. Absolutely worthwhile so make sure to expend your durability on this until completed.

DAILY EVENTS (BENEFITS TASK)

These benefits tasks pop up every season where you can earn last season super tickets by completing the requirements: training, territory, land development, hitting structures etc depending on your season. super energy cores start appearing in these benefit tasks from season 5 SX in the 4th week (Eden: Dissidia for me). The requirements are a little more higher than previous seasons, but alongside double the amount of S4 tickets (2 vs 1 per benefit task), you attain 1,400 energy cores too. This may vary depending on the type of task but is another way you can earn energy cores.

Some tasks are more attainable than others such as training troops vs the more difficult train on territories. Those need training orders and even with Elite Privilege pass, you’ll use them up quickly and may need to top up with the $5 package. The rewards are far better with more energy cores and S4 tickets, just see which ones are worth going for.

STRATEGY

FREE TO PLAY OPTIONS (F2P)

The regular methods to earn super energy cores are very limited, pretty much the helipad daily drops and then consuming 180,000 doomsday coins over 2 seasons per gold baneblade part. Relying solely on the helipad will take you over 4 years, with the time-limited events where you can earn super energy cores chipping away at that time ever so slowly. But hey, it’s free, right? Since baneblade is not a realistic option for you in the near-term, your focus should be on developing the core pre-SX and top SX heroes which will still put you in a competitive status, until you come across the top of the top bases.

Spending doomsday coins means you forego buying hero tickets but is the only real way you can accelerate baneblade production earlier without spending. The choice is yours depending how well developed your heroes are enough to compete, and whether your season rewards cover you well. But during that time, making sure to keep making phantom, ranger and dreadnought gold parts to replace the parts you use for Baneblade.

SEMI-SPENDER

Your a person that doesn’t mind either buying packages here and there or regularly buy a few packages. In which case, arms and trade supply are the best bang for buck in energy core value. It drastically reduces the amount of cores needed for a complete baneblade set by 88% compared to free to play players and takes just under 6 months to hit the milestone. It’s also one of the most cheapest ways to gain cores for a complete golds set Baneblade, bested only by trade supply, but saves you an additional 6 months for $15 more. It’s still $285 for the total cost, but makes competing at the highest level more accessible than relying fully on F2P.

If you only spend from time to time or rare occasions, then trade supply is the best package thats regularly available. It offers 7,500 cores more than arms supply for the same price $25 (52,500 vs 45,000). Either of the two offer more cores than time-limited packages like cumulative events, but they give you more value in other stuff you get.
